CypHER offers two levels of web development courses: Beginner and Intermediate/Advanced. The Beginner course covers the basics of HTML and CSS. In the morning, students will learn the information they need to create their own website, which will occur in the form of a project in the afternoon. The Intermediate/Advanced course goes more in depth regarding HTML and CSS, and students will learn some JavaScript as well. This instruction will occur in the morning, and in the afternoon, students can choose between Arduino Circutry and VEX Robotics.
The Arduino Circuitry course is an introductory course for students interested
in learning more about arduino. Students will be involved in various arduino
activities, then given time to work on a final product to show their newly
gained knowledge.
Students who are enrolled in the Intermediate/Advanced
web development course in the morning may choose to attend this class in the
afternoon.
The VEX Robotics course is an introductory course for students looking to learn
more about robotics. Students will be given the opportunity to program and drive
a VEX robot, and participate in an exciting tournament to show off their skills!
Students who are enrolled in the Intermediate/Advanced Web Development
course in the morning may choose to attend this class in the afternoon.
This year, cypHER has added a new path of instruction! Students in the Introduction to Python class will learn all about the basics of the Python programming language and its applications in the real world. Intro to Python is a full day course, where the morning will consist of lessons and the afternoon is time for interactive activities and projects.
