About cypHER

cypHER is a full-day web development workshop for middle school girls that aims to increase girls’ exposure to computer science. It is entirely run and organized by a team of female High Technology High School students. During the event, participants will have the opportunity to learn HTML, CSS, Javascript, and/or Python (new this year!) fundamentals in the morning, and in the afternoon, participants will apply these skills to create their own websites, program and drive VEX robots, or learn the basics of circuitry and Arduino. Students will meet and learn from female mentors in STEM, hear exciting talks from speakers, and have the opportunity present their hard work and win exciting prizes!
